An ambulance took a 24-year-old resident of Odessa with a shot in her leg yesterday from her dacha. Neighbors told the doctors about the citizen when they heard a shot from her yard. The victim was assisted and released for outpatient treatment, the department said.

The Odessa woman explained to law enforcement officers that she injured herself during careless handling of weapons found near her house in a garbage container.
