Occupiers impose travel restrictions on residents in Luhansk Region

The forced passportization of the population of the temporarily occupied and occupied territory of Luhansk oblast continues.
The Russians in the occupied part of Luhansk Region have imposed restrictions on free movement between settlements for those citizens who do not hold Russian passports, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff has said on Facebook.
The occupants have imposed restrictions on free movement between settlements for all civilians who do not hold Russian passports. The restrictions apply to Starobelsk, Rubizhne and Stanytsia Luhanska," the statement said.
This is how the occupants intend to counteract the Ukrainian underground and also to force more citizens to obtain Russian documents.
We would like to add that since 1 March, Russians have been paying "pensions" and other "social benefits" in Ukraine's occupied territories only to holders of Russian passports. At the same time, the circulation of Ukrainian currency in the occupied territory is prohibited.
At the same time, passportization in the region continues slowly, while a large number of the population ignores the receipt of Russian passports.
In its turn, the Cabinet of Ministers urged Ukrainians who are in the enemy-controlled territories not to take Russian passports, but to travel to the territory controlled by Ukraine.
