In the Kharkiv region, law enforcement officers detained a man who served in law enforcement agencies and went over to the side of the invaders.
This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to the investigation, the former law enforcement officer voluntarily went over to the side of the enemy. He cooperated with representatives of the Russian Armed Forces who occupied the Shevchenkovo village in the Kupyansky district. The man agitated the locals to cooperate with the Russian military and helped the occupiers in their requests, for example, by repairing their car, the ministry said.
Law enforcement officers detained the traitor when he was staying at the house of acquaintances in a village controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
