More than 33 thousand Ukrainians returned from abroad in one day

Ukrainians continue to return home from abroad.
According to border guards, over the past day, June 9, 37,000 people entered the country, more than 33,000 of which are Ukrainians.
This was reported in the Western Regional Department of the State Border Service
For almost a month, the number of citizens who return to Ukraine is greater than the number of those traveling abroad, border guards noted
Recall that as of the end of May, the number of internally displaced persons as a result of the war in Ukraine decreased to 7 million.
This is stated in the latest report of the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
Compared to May 3, the number has decreased by 11% and is the first recorded decrease in the number of IDPs since the start of the Russian invasion on February 24.
A new survey shows that more people are returning home after being displaced.
