The company is preparing to resume work in the near future.

Mondelez is resuming the operation of the plant for the production of potato chips "Lux" in Vyshgorod, Kyiv region next week. It is reported by Reuters .

The company has 2 factories in Ukraine - for the production of chips near Kyiv and a chocolate factory with a bakery in Trostyanets. Both factories were closed on February 24 due to the outbreak of a large-scale war between Russia and Ukraine.

It is noted that the chocolate factory was seriously damaged in March, it is still being repaired.

Earlier, Chicago-based Mondelez said in its earnings report that the impact of the war in Ukraine on global commodities, including wheat and oil, would cut its annual earnings by 3 cents a share and cut annual sales by $200 million.

According to Opendatabot, since the beginning of the war, 28,442 sole proprietors and 4,584 new companies have been registered in Ukraine. According to the Poster POS company, 68% of catering establishments are currently operating in Ukraine. Also, Ukrainians began to buy more online - sales volumes are 85% of pre-war figures.
