Ministry of Infrastructure promises that gasoline prices will not rise in the near future

The government plans to partially return excise taxes on diesel fuel and gasoline. But prices shouldn't change.
This was stated by the Minister of Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov.
I hope that for diesel and gasoline there will either be no change in retail prices at all, or there will be minor changes within the margin of error. Market players and analysts confirm this if such a downward trend in prices continues, Kubrakov said.
Excises and VAT on fuel were canceled in March amid a crisis in the fuel market, so the government did everything to saturate the market with a resource. In July, the minister said, the situation has stabilized: all networks of gas stations have fuel, in all regions, both in large and small networks.
He also noted that, despite the increase in the hryvnia exchange rate by the National Bank, fuel prices at some gas stations continue to fall. This is due to the fact that the cost of fuel in world markets is also decreasing, the minister explained.
