GB Defence Minister suggests Ukraine continue offensive in winter

The reason is that Russians are poorly supplied for the winter.
UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said in an interview with The Daily Beast. He stated:
Given the advantage the Ukrainians have in training, equipment and quality of personnel over the demoralised, ill-trained, ill-equipped Russians, it would be in Ukraine's interest to maintain momentum through the winter.
Wallace noted that the offensive must continue through the winter because the Russian army is now poorly supplied, saying that Russian units were deployed without food, without socks and with few weapons.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian troops received 300,000 sets of winter clothes from the international community, which are an important necessity for a winter offensive.
