The Ministry of Finance called the sources of income of the state budget

Since the beginning of the war, revenues to the state budget from taxes have sharply decreased.



For the period from the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation from February 24, 2022 to May 3, the state budget was financed by 298.4 billion hryvnia (10.032 billion dollars). Sources included war bonds, loans from international financial institutions, and bilateral loans and grants. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance .

According to the press service, the largest sources were:

  • NBU - 70 billion hryvnia (2.393 billion dollars),
  • War bonds - 60.105 billion hryvnia (2.221 billion dollars),
  • IMF - 41.263 billion hryvnia (1.397 billion dollars),
  • World Bank - UAH 29.738 billion ($997 million),
  • EU - 25.754 billion hryvnia (792 million dollars).

It is known that Ukraine is negotiating with international partners on the allocation of 11 billion dollars to the state budget of the country. Of these, $5 billion has already been received. The key partners of Ukraine are the USA, Canada, Great Britain, and also the EU.

According to the State Treasury Service, in April 2022, the general fund of the state budget received UAH 76.2 billion. This is 74% of March revenues (UAH 103.4 billion).
