- Malyar: Enemy tries to create reserves from locals in temporarily occupied territories

The occupiers have been rounding up and detaining locals in some localities in the occupied territory of Ukraine.
Deputy Defence Minister Anna Malyar said this on Telegram.
During the raids, all detainees are tested for their loyalty to the occupation regime, and men who are eligible for military service due to their age are arrested mostly on spurious grounds.
Those arrested in this way are usually sent to specially equipped field camps which already house criminals brought from Russian prisons who have agreed to take part in the hostilities," said Malyar.
Currently, there are several camps in the vicinity of Roghov and Mozhnykovka villages in Luhansk Region that are used to hold recruited prisoners delivered under escort of convoy from Russia.
These camps also house local men who have been detained for minor offences and have not expressed their consent to support the occupation.
By the end of May, the number of staff in the camps is expected to increase with the arrival of two additional batches of prisoners from Russia.
These prisoners have mainly been convicted of particularly brutal murders. More than 800 people are currently being held in these camps, who are being given intensive training for combat purposes.
The occupiers plan to complete this training within a month. After completing the combat training course, the prisoners will sign contracts committing them to participate in combat operations in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
