Lukashenko said that Orešnik was deployed in Belarus

Russia was already probably using Oreshnik to hit the Dnieper.
Head of the Belarusian regime Alexander Lukashenko said that Russia had deployed the Oreshnik missile system on the territory of Belarus. According to him, the complex arrived in the country on 17 December. This was reported by the Belarusian service of Radio Liberty, Telegraf, on 18 December.
Lukashenko called the deployment of the complex a "strategic deterrence measure" and said that in case of a threat, Belarus would be the first to react, followed by Russia. However, there's no confirmation of these words, except for Lukashenko's statements.
The Centre for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine reacted to the statement, calling it "fear propaganda. According to the head of the Centre, Andrei Kovalenko, the information about the deployment of Oreshnik in Belarus is purely informational and aimed at intimidating Europe.
Earlier, Lukashenko and the Kremlin have repeatedly announced plans to deploy the Russian missile system on the Belarusian territory. According to Radio Liberty, the possible location of the complex, according to Radio Liberty, is south of Minsk, in Slutsk district near the village of Pavlovka, where the military facility was built in strict secrecy.
Recall, last November, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the "successful combat test" of the newest medium-range missile Oreshnik and reported a strike on the Dnieper River in non-nuclear hypersonic equipment. In December, Alexander Lukashenko formally asked the Kremlin to deploy the system in Belarus, and Putin allowed it to appear in the country in the second half of 2025.
The Oreshnik is a Russian medium-range ballistic missile that, according to the Ukrainian military, can reach speeds of more than 12,300 kilometres per hour and is equipped with six sub-munition warheads. The Russian medium-range ballistic missile Oreshnik can fly from Belarus to Kiev in 1 minute 51 seconds.
