Anušauskas did not specify which deliveries are planned for 2023.
The volume of Lithuanian military aid to Ukraine will increase by €40m next year, Delfi has said, citing Lithuanian Defence Minister Arvydas Anušauskas
According to him, Lithuania plans to buy new equipment similar to that produced in Lithuania, based on what Ukrainians need
Anušauskas noted that since the start of the full-scale invasion, the republic has already provided military aid to the Armed Forces worth €283m.
We shall remind you that at the beginning of December the Lithuanian authorities announced their intention to transfer to Kyiv 25 thousand sets of winter uniforms for the troops. Their cost amounts to over €2 million.
Lithuania earlier supplied Ukraine with air defence systems, small arms for infantry, anti-tank weapons, machine guns, howitzers, mortars, armoured vehicles, including over 60 M-113 armoured personnel carriers.
