Large-scale attack on Kiev: the first Russian victim became known

Kiev has confirmed the first victim of a massive Russian attack on the night of 4 July. Rescuers have extracted the body of the victim from under the rubble of the destroyed building in Svyatoshinsky district of the capital. About it reports the state emergency service and the head of the Kiev city military administration Timur Tkachenko.

At one of the locations as a result of the Russian attack rescuers unblocked the body of the deceased, - said in the state emergency service.

According to the latest data, 26 people were injured as a result of the shelling, among them one child. Psychologists of the State Emergency Service rendered assistance to 39 victims.

In the city, work continues to eliminate the consequences of the strike: rescuers are removing rubble and extinguishing fires. More than 300 tonnes of building debris have already been removed. 512 employees of the State Emergency Situations Service, 135 units of equipment, including a fire robot, as well as canines, police, Red Cross volunteers and other emergency services are working on the site.

Russia launched one of the largest attacks on Ukraine during the night of 4 July in the full-scale war. According to the AFU Air Force, the enemy fired 539 drones and 11 missiles. The main blow came to the capital.

The strikes were recorded in six districts of Kiev. Residential buildings, a publishing house warehouse, a fire station, offices of the New Post, as well as the building of the Polish consulate were damaged. There were fires in a number of places.
