China wants to work with Russia to "settle" the war in Ukraine
China's position on Ukraine has not changed.
The press service of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said this, quoting Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang.
According to the foreign minister, China wants to coordinate with Russia to promote peace talks to "end" the war between Ukraine and Russia.
China will push forward peace talks and is willing to liaise and coordinate with Russia to make a tangible contribution to the political resolution of the crisis.
It is worth recalling that last week Zelensky and Xi Jinping held talks for the first time since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
However, judging by the international rhetoric, China is still more supportive of Ukraine than Russia.
