Kyiv designer showed a collection created during the war at Berlin Fashion Week

Ukrainian designer Jean Gritsfeldt showed a collection created during the war that Russia launched against Ukraine at Berlin Fashion Week.

DW writes about it.

The presentation was accompanied by the sound of a siren, bloody models and a huge flag of Ukraine, stretched across the entire podium.

Nobody cares what you're wearing right now, the 32-year-old fashion designer addressed the public in the German capital via video link.

Jean Gritsfeldt is in Kyiv, where he tries to morally support his mother. She works as a doctor in a children's hospital.

According to the designer, he hears the sirens every night.

People have even begun to get used to it. But terrible things are happening all around. I feel tremendous support around the world. What is happening now in Ukraine leaves no one indifferent. We are in the very center of Europe,” he said.
