Ukraine returns 108 women from captivity: photos and video
As a result of another exchange of prisoners, 108 Ukrainian women were released.
This was reported by the Telegram channel "Office of the President".
"We managed to carry out not just another large-scale exchange of prisoners. This is the first completely female exchange. Today we managed to release 108 women from captivity," Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak said.
Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets said:
"37 evacuees from Azovstal, 11 officers, 85 privates and sergeants. Of these, 35 defenders from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 32 from the Navy, 12 from Troops, 8 from NSU, including 2 from Azov, 5 from DSST, 4 GPSU and 12 civilians.
Women are expected to receive medical care, rehabilitation and, if necessary, psychological and social support.
