South Western Railway to be renamed Central Railway

The name was chosen by a vote in the Days.
This was announced by Digital Transformation Minister Mykhaylo Fyodorov.
Voting for the new name of the South-Western railway has ended in the Diya app. 38 percent of Ukrainians (or 417,000) supported the name Central Railway.
A total of 1.1 million Ukrainians participated in the poll.
The name "South-Western Railway" remains from the times of the Russian Empire.
The government also wants to rename the Southern Railway. The vote will last until 17 March. Options to choose from: Kharkivskaya, Slobodskaya, or Vostochnaya.
