In the Kyiv region, a National Guard officer who worked for the enemy was detained

An enemy informer, who turned out to be a mobilised National Guard member, was detained in Kyiv Region. He was collecting intelligence about the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's "Offensive Guard".
This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.
Russian special services recruited the serviceman remotely and involved him in cooperation via a popular online gaming platform.
On the instructions of the Russian military intelligence service, he collected intelligence on the deployment and movement of combat units of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's Offensive Guard. "First of all, the enemy was interested in information about the locations of the rapid response units of the 4th assault brigade of the 4th assault brigade of operational purpose 'Rubezh'," the report said.
The enemy used this information to prepare and carry out targeted air strikes against Ukrainian facilities using missiles and kamikaze drones.
The Russian informant was detained on the territory of one of the military units of the National Guard. It turned out that the resident of the Kyiv region had been recruited even before he was mobilised into the Ukrainian army.
He came to the aggressor's attention as an active user of Internet games, where he periodically published his anti-Ukrainian comments. He started to fulfil the tasks of reconnaissance and subversive activities after his enlistment in one of the military units of the National Guard," the SBU said.
The suspect collected information when he was involved in guarding the location of military equipment, weapons and defence forces. He transmitted the information to the occupants via messenger in the form of media files with electronic coordinates of Ukrainian objects.
The attacker's mobile phone was confiscated, which he used to correspond with the aggressor.
The detainee was reported on suspicion under part 2 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - unauthorised dissemination of information about the direction, movement of weapons, arms and ammunition into Ukraine, movement, displacement or deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, committed under martial law.
At the moment he is in custody. The attacker faces up to 8 years in prison.
