Six people reported missing in Ternopil have made contact. Another 14 residents are being searched for.



After the Russian missile attack on 19 November, the number of people killed in Ternopil has increased to 27, while 14 remain missing. This was reported by the State Emergency Situations Service and Suspilne Ternopil.

Rescuers pulled out the body of a woman from under the rubble on Stusa Street.

According to the updated data, the number of people who have not been in touch has decreased to 14. Six residents, about whose fate there was no information earlier, have reported their whereabouts and are safe, - said the State Emergency Service.

More than 230 specialists from nine regions of Ukraine are involved in rescue work. As of the morning of 20 November it is known about 26 dead, among them three children. Injured 93 people, including 18 children.

We shall remind you that in the evening of 19 November, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported 26 missing persons.

The missile strike on Ternopil was carried out by the Russian occupants with cruise missiles Kh-101, fired from Tu-95MS and Tu-160MS aircraft. The main strike hit high-rise buildings on Stusa and 15 April streets, as a result of which several floors were destroyed at the first location.
