In the afternoon of 19 September, the Russian army shelled Sumy with guided aerial bombs. The enemy hit the Sumy geriatric boarding house where elderly people lived.
The head of the Sumy regional state administration , Volodymyr Artyukh , told Suspilnyy.
on 19 September, a Russian guided aerial bomb hit the building of the Sumy geriatric boarding house. Here lived 221 elderly people, - stated in the message.
People are currently being evacuated to other institutions.
Employees of the institution told reporters that the main blow hit the upper floors of the institution. There were 24 wards on the 5th floor.
According to preliminary data, one person died in hospital from his injuries, 9 others were injured.
