In occupied Makeyevka, Donetsk Region, the recently opened monument to the "hero of the DNR" Vladimir Zhoga "Vokha" was doused with red paint. This was reported by Russian Telegram channels on 27 May.
Local residents believe that it probably won't be possible to find the "vandals," because there are no surveillance cameras in the area of the monument to the "hero of the DNR."
There is no budget for this, so there are no cameras, as we were told. Our graves were desecrated in the heroes' alley in Yenakievo. Nobody cares about it," complained a certain Russian woman on social media.
Vladimir Zhoga "Vokha" was born in 1993 in Donetsk. Since 2014, he fought against the AFU, was the personal driver of the militant Arsen Pavlov "Motorola", liquidated in 2016 in Donetsk.
Zhoga later headed the illegal armed group "Sparta". He was liquidated in 2022 during the seizure of Volnovakha by Russian troops.
