The Russian army continues to purposefully attack Ukrainian rescuers while they are performing their official duties, especially in the moments of eliminating the consequences of enemy strikes.

According to the State Service for Emergency Situations, four employees of the service were injured as a result of such attacks.

In Kostyantynivka in Donetsk Region, a Russian drone attacked firefighters who were evacuating civilians from the danger zone. Two rescuers were injured, a service vehicle was also damaged. The injured were given first aid, after which they were taken to hospital.

Two more rescuers were injured in Kherson, where an enemy FPV drone hit a lorry of a unit of the State Emergency Service. And they were promptly hospitalised.

The State Emergency Situations Service emphasises that the attacks are deliberate. According to them, the Russian army purposefully hits those who save the lives of civilians and remain in place after shelling, when the threat persists.

The day before it was also reported about the attack on rescuers in Dnipropetrovsk region, who were eliminating the consequences of a fire. These incidents come amid another massive strike that Russia launched on the territory of Ukraine on the night of 28 July.

Earlier Socialportal reported, as a result of a night missile strike on Kamenskoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region suffered 22 people. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration Sergey Lysak. According to him, among the wounded are ten employees of the medical facility, including nurses, midwives and an anaesthesiologist. The strike, according to preliminary information, hit the maternity ward of the city hospital.
