In Kirovograd region detained the arsonist of the car of the National Guard special forces officer

The SBU together with the National Police have detained an arsonist who was operating in Kirovohrad Region. The woman was instructed by the Russian special services to set fire to cars and buildings of the Defence Forces. This was reported by the SBU on 10 July.

The defendant deliberately set fire to the service pickup truck of the instructor of the special forces unit "Omega" of the National Guard. For this purpose, the woman purchased a flammable kindling and tracked the parking place of the car of the Ukrainian military.

During curfew, she crept up to the National Guard vehicle and set it on fire. To report on the completed task, she shot video of her actions during the preparation and commission of the offence.

The video footage in the Russian Federation was planned to be used for conducting IPSOs, which were supposed to "disperse" the fake about the presence of an anti-Ukrainian underground in Kirovohrad region.

The SBU counterintelligence officers detained the figurehead "on a hot trail", within a day after the arson. Her next assignment was to set fire to the local TCC building using a Molotov cocktail.

The detainee turned out to be a 28-year-old resident of Alexandria. She came to the aggressor's attention earlier this summer because of her activity in Telegram channels, where she was looking for easy money.

During the searches she was seized the components of a homemade incendiary mixture and the clothes in which she committed the arson.

The detainee was reported on suspicion under part 1 of article 114-1 of the Criminal Code (obstruction of the lawful activities of the AFU and other military formations).

The issue of additional qualification of her criminal actions under part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code (high treason committed under martial law) is being resolved.

The attacker is in custody. She faces life imprisonment.

Earlier Socialportal reported that the SBU prevented a series of arson arson of military transport of employees of the TCC in Dnipro and IPSO to discredit the TCC.
