Girls aged 9 and 11 are among the victims of the Konstantinovka strike

on 9 August, Russian invaders shelled Konstantinovka in Donetsk Region, hitting a supermarket.

The bodies of two children, girls aged 9 and 11, have been identified among those killed after a Russian strike on a shopping centre in Kostyantynivka in Donetsk Region on 9 August. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor-General of Ukraine.

At the same time, the identification of bodies continues. A total of six victims have not yet been identified, among whom, as the prosecutor's office believes, there is another child.

According to the latest data, the number of dead as a result of the shelling is 14 people, wounded - 43 people.

The prosecutor's office said Russia hit the town of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region with a preliminary Kh-38 missile. The enemy hit the local shopping centre, where there were food and household shops.

Now investigative actions are continuing. The number of victims is specified. Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk regional Prosecutor's office is carried out pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of laws and customs of war (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal code of Ukraine), - stated in the message.
