In 2021, the Russian Federation filed a lawsuit against Ukraine with the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR). The complaint was brought on 10 groups of charges.

However, today the ECHR dismissed Russia's claims in full. This was reported by the Ukrainian Justice Ministry.

It is noted that the Russian Federation accused Ukraine of allegedly administrative practices of "murder, kidnapping, forced relocation, interference in electoral rights, restrictions on the use of the Russian language and attacks on Russian embassies and consulates".

In addition, Russia tried to blame Ukraine for the MH17 airliner disaster. It also complained about the blocking of the North Crimean Canal and asked the ECHR to oblige Ukraine to resume water supply to Crimea and stop "harassment" in the use of the Russian language.

The European Court of Human Rights immediately refused the aggressor and removed it from the register of cases.

Moreover, when filing the lawsuit, all documents, both evidence and the application itself, were submitted in Russian, in connection with which the ECHR repeatedly provided instructions to submit all documents in the official languages of its work, in English or French, but Russia constantly delayed the provision of properly prepared documents, - said the Commissioner for the ECHR Margarita Sokorenko.

Earlier, Socialportal reported that the European Parliament urged the international court in The Hague to issue an arrest warrant for self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
