Experts have calculated Russia's spending on the war

Russian Federation has spent about 167.3bn dollars on the war during the 18 months of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This was reported by Forbes.

According to experts' calculations, the Kremlin spends about 300m dollars on the war every day.

Direct military expenditures and the cost of lost equipment of Russia for 18 months of war is about $ 167.3 billion, - writes Forbes.

It is noted that the estimate does not include permanent defence spending not related to military action, as well as economic losses of the aggressor country.

Among the largest items of Russia's military expenditures:

• provision of military operations ($51.3 billion)
• military salaries ($35.1 billion)
• compensation to the families of the dead ($25.6 billion) and wounded ($21 billion)
• cost of destroyed equipment ($34 billion)

At the same time, as noted, Russia is increasing military spending.
