It was wonderful to see families separated from loved ones get a taste of home and festivity. We wanted to celebrate their resilience and courage at this time of year," said Irina Garmash-Krieger, who leads the refugee centre team.
The charity will support around 4,000 local people who will have a tough time at Christmas this year.
The Christmas aid programme includes food baskets, coupons for toys for children, winter warming items, clothes, toiletries, Christmas lunch and much more.
