Accident in Kyiv: a child was injured

"It has been previously established that the driver of a VAZ car was moving along Honore de Balzac Street and hit a minor who, together with her mother, was crossing the roadway at an unregulated pedestrian crossing. As a result of the collision, the girl, born in 2016, received bodily injuries of varying severity. The child hospitalized," the department said.

After the accident, the driver fled the scene. But later the police found him and detained him.

"It was established that the man was driving a vehicle while intoxicated. The Drager device showed 2.05 ppm of the alcohol content in the man's body," the department added.

The unfortunate driver "shines" from three to eight years in prison.
