Dollar exchange rate next year will depend on macro-financial assistance - expert

If there are no problems with macro-financing, the dollar exchange rate in 2024 will correspond to the planned indicators.

This was stated by the director of the Economic Discussion Club, Oleh Pendzin, during a discussion at the main discussion platform of the country BrainHub in the Media Centre Ukraine - Ukrinform.

If macro-financial assistance is received in full, the exchange rate that is included in the state budget, and the state budget of 2024 includes the exchange rate of UAH 41.4, I think that it may be a little less than the real exchange rate. If, God forbid, we start having serious political problems with macro-financing, the only way to ensure social payments will be to return to the emission, - he stressed.

According to Oleg Pendzin, if there is an emission, "the exchange rate will undoubtedly roll.

Therefore, in my opinion, the biggest risk of next year and the biggest problems related to the exchange rate may arise in this area. That's the vision I have," he explained.
