Details of the Russian strike on Konstantinovka, Donetsk region, have become known

The strikes hit the densely built city centre.

Russians shelled a market in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk Region, on 7 September. As a result of the attack, three people were killed and three more wounded. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk OVA Vadym Filashkin. Also the strike was confirmed by the regional Prosecutor's office.

It is reported that Russian troops attacked the city from 09:15 to 10:00, probably with barrel artillery. The centre with dense residential buildings came under attack.

The shelling killed three men aged 24, 46 and 69 who were near the local market, the prosecutor's office pointed out.

Three other civilians - a 50-year-old woman and two men aged 29 and 59 - were wounded. They were diagnosed with shrapnel wounds to their arms and legs. Medical assistance is being provided to the injured.

The Russian shelling damaged an apartment building, a medical facility, a pharmacy, a commercial premises, transport and power lines.

Prosecutors have launched a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings for violation of the laws and customs of war - this is part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

According to the OBA, over the past 24 hours, the Russians shelled the settlements of Donbass 22 times. Liman, Konstantinovka, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, Kurakhovo, Gornyak, Izmailovka, Rivne, Grodovka and Bohoyavlenka came under attack. Three people were killed as a result of the shelling.
