Details of the night strike by Russians on a column of grain trucks in Sumyshchyna have become known
The attack damaged cargo grain carriers.
In the evening of 31 August, the enemy launched a missile attack on a convoy of grain trucks that were on the Sumy-Kharkiv route near the village of Verkhnyaya Syvorotka in Sumy district. As a result, the 23-year-old driver was killed and five more people were injured. About it reports the press service of the Sumy Prosecutor's office in Telegram.
According to the investigation, on 31 August at about 20:30 the enemy launched a missile attack on the column of grain trucks, which were on the way Sumy-Kharkiv near the village of Upper Syvorotka of Sumy district. These vehicles were designed to collect and transport crops.
It is noted that there was a fire of one lorry and damage to about twenty.
The Prosecutor's Office is conducting a pre-trial investigation on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional homicide under part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Emergency services continue to assess the extent of damage and consequences of the attack.
A total of 18 shellings of border areas and settlements of Sumy Region were recorded on the night of 1 September and during the morning. About fifty explosions took place in Velikopisarevska, Bilopolska, Verkhnesyvorotska, Krasnopolska, Yunakivska, Esmanska, Seredino-Budska, Glukhivska and Novoslobodska communities.
The Russian occupants dropped two guided bombs on the Velikopisaryivska community. The Russians shelled the territory of the Krasnopolska community with artillery, while the Bilopolska community was hit with three aerial bombs and 15 mortar shellings.
In Glukhivska Commune, the Russians used four guided bombs, and dropped one bomb each on Yunakivska and Novoslobodska Communities.
The Russian occupants terrorised the Esman community with mortar shelling. A total of 7 explosions were recorded. In Seredyno-Budskaya Commune, the enemy attacked twice with an FPV drone.
