Danilov addressed the initiators of the "peace initiatives"

The authors of the so-called "peace initiatives" often repeat Russian narratives, says Danilov.

National Security and Defence Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov has asked politicians to avoid "pro-Russian peacekeeping" and to give Ukraine more weapons so that it can win on the battlefield. Oleksiy Danilov wrote this on Facebook.

He stressed that Russia understands only the language of "war", so any statements about a supposedly "peaceful" settlement of its armed aggression against Ukraine are meaningless.

When the goal of the Russian aggressor remains unchanged - the destruction of Ukraine, the peace settlement initiatives heard recently are nothing but pro-Russian peacemaking. Don't keep putting us at the negotiating table, give us enough weapons. Weapons are the best mediator and the only understandable argument for Russia to communicate," the NSDC secretary stressed.

It should be noted that the topic of "peace talks" between Kiev and Moscow arises regularly in the international arena. For example, the Brazilian leader recently said that the opposing sides should be brought to the negotiating table. A similar initiative was put forward by the Italian foreign minister.
