The commander of the Georgian Legion of the AFU had already been tried twice several years ago to be poisoned with arsenic and an unknown poison.

The commander of the AFU Georgian Legion, Mamuka Mamulashvili, has said that he was poisoned. He said this in a commentary for Ukrayinska Pravda on 13 June.

The commander of the Georgian Legion said that for a long time he had been bothered by abdominal cramps, but doctors could not establish the cause.

A German laboratory found that Mamulashvili's body had high levels of arsenic, mercury and tin, which probably entered the body with food.

It's very difficult to calculate, the toxicologist says it's about four to five months since the poison has been in the blood. During that time I could have eaten anywhere and with anyone. It could very well have been in Germany, when I had a splinter cut out there in February this year. And what I didn't like - there were mostly Russian staff in the hospital, I mean nurses. The doctor assured me that everything was checked when I asked if I could be poisoned there. But after the operation, that's where such strong spasms started," Mamulashvili said.

Mamulashvili says that the Military Prosecutor's Office and the National Police have launched an investigation into his probable poisoning.

According to him, there were already two attempts to poison him with arsenic and an unknown poisonous chemical several years ago.

The Georgian Legion has been fighting in Ukraine against Russian occupiers since 2014. In 2016, the Georgian Legion became part of the AFU. This was the first time foreigners were officially admitted to the AFU.

Mamulashvili and other members of the Georgian Legion are wanted in the Russian Federation on charges of recruiting mercenaries and participation in the war in Ukraine.

Earlier it was reported that in Germany in Frankfurt am Main 19-year-old Afghan man with a knife attacked a 41-year-old Ukrainian woman. The woman was seriously injured.

Also, Socialportal reportedthat the wife of the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence Kirill Budanov - Marianna was poisoned with heavy metals.
