Following a public accusation by prosecutors of the Sumy regional prosecutor's office, a blogger who justifies the armed aggression of the Russian Federation has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.
He was found guilty of collaborationist activity and justification of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (part 6 of article 111-1, part 3 of article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The blogger, who calls himself the main spokesman for the war, is said to be helping Russians "mobilise and hold an information strike". Justifying the defeats of the Russian military, he spreads classic fakes of Russian propaganda," the report said.
The convict was born and lived for a long time in the city of Sumy. In 2014 he left for the Russian Federation. On his property on the territory of the Sumy region by the decision of the court imposed arrest.
