Civilian prisoner from Zaporizhzhya region sentenced to 18 years in Russia

According to him, the convict is Zaporizhzhya resident Dmytro Golubev, who helped to transport people out of occupied Melitopol.

Russia continues its cynical trial of civilian prisoners. The fictitiously accused Zaporozhye citizen Dmytro Golubev, who helped smuggle people out of occupied Melitopol, has been sentenced in Rostov-on-Don to 18 years of imprisonment, the city mayor said.

According to hromadske, Golubev is also accused of blowing up a service centre of the Interior Ministry in Melitopol seized by the occupants and preparing two more explosions in the Zaporizhzhya region.

Russian security forces posted the 50-year-old man in August 2022. After that he was deported to Crimea and further to Russia.
