What is strictly forbidden to publish on social networks

In Ukraine, they will be punished for taking photos and videos of the movements of military personnel, weapons and equipment. On March 24, the Verkhovna Rada supported bill No. 7189, which provides for punishment for such actions.

Draft Law No. 7189 "On Amendments to the Criminal and Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine on Ensuring Counteraction to Unauthorized Dissemination of Information on the Direction, Movement of International Military Assistance to Ukraine, Movement, Movement or Deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, or Other Military Formations of Ukraine, Committed in the Conditions of Military or Emergency provisions" introduced article 114-2.

Punishment for the dissemination of data on the direction or movement of weapons, ammunition on the territory of Ukraine, if such information was not placed in the public domain by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or the Ministry of Defense, or in official sources of the relevant departments of the partner countries, their placement or movement, entails a punishment in the form of deprivation freedom for a period of 3 to 5 years.

For the dissemination of information about the movement, movement or deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, or military formations, if it is possible to identify them on the ground - a punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 5 to 8 years.

If the above offenses are committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons or with the aim of providing such information to the aggressor state, or they entailed severe consequences - imprisonment for a term of 8 to 12 years.

Not allowed to post on social media:

• Missiles that fly or hit somewhere
• Street names, bus stops, shops, factories
• Movements of the Ukrainian military, military facilities
• The work of the air defense
• Location of shelling or projectile impact
• Addresses, visual reference or battle coordinates
• Numbers of cars, armored vehicles
• Injured or dead (Except official data)

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine urges to take these bans responsibly, as the enemy can track messages and correct strikes.

For such violations there will be criminal liability, since this is help to the enemy, even if it is not special.

In addition, your photos or videos can cause death of people, destruction of peaceful objects.
