Former head of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service says Russia recruits new volunteers

The Russian Federation is preparing new reserves for the offensive.

Russia recruits new volunteers to be thrown to the front. An army general and former head of the Ukrainian Foreign Intelligence Service, Mykola Malomuzh, has said that 300,000-400,000 soldiers are being trained for a new offensive in Ukraine, FREEDOM has reported.

According to him, the cadres intend to be trained within 4-5 months.

They are training new reserves, pulling in new mobilisations. Volunteers are now being recruited all over Russia. Along with the "Wagnerites", who began their history of recruitment, the military are also being recruited. Cossacks have already appeared in the direction of Ugledar, who do not want to fight, to go into attack, but they have mobilized in pathos, they are gathering them, they are training them," Malomuzh said.

At the same time, he said, Russia will not be able to quickly send new recruits to the front, as they need to be trained and also armed.

This means ammunition accumulation, the formation of brigades, divisions, as they say, even corps of armies, this harmonization. This is six months to a year," the former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service said.

In his opinion, the Ukrainian counter-offensive will put an end to this preparation of the enemy.

If we launch an active offensive in the next few months, as our leadership says, we will be able not only to liberate territories, go into the south, the east, Crimea, but most importantly - to blow up Putin's regime," Malomuzh said.

He stressed that when the Russians start to be driven out of the Ukrainian land, their main task will be to survive.
