Budanov announced more UAV attacks on Russian territory

Ukraine has a plan to reduce Russian military capabilities.
Ukrainian UAV attacks on Russian territory will continue. The Washington Post quoted the head of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, as saying on 17 April.
Budanov told the publication that Ukraine has a plan aimed at reducing the potential of the Russian Federation, covering the aggressor's military industry, airfields, enemy command and control centres, etc.
Budanov is reportedly planning more cross-border attacks by "Russian volunteers" operating inside the Russian Federation with the support of his service, as well as more drone attacks to counter Russian forces.
The goal is to show that President Vladimir Putin cannot "protect the population from the infiltration of war into Russia. When you sit in, say, St. Petersburg and you see the war only on TV, you will always support it. .... But people get nervous when some object is attacked near their home," Budanov explained.
According to the newspaper, the Russians tried to kill Budanov at least 10 times, including at least two missile strikes on his headquarters.
Last year, a Moscow court issued a warrant for his arrest for allegedly plotting to destroy a bridge over the Kerch Strait. His wife, Marianne, was poisoned with heavy metals.
