Britain's defence secretary addresses Putin

Russian submarine activity in the North Atlantic has reached Cold War levels.
Defence Secretary John Gili bluntly addressed the Kremlin with a stern warning: "We are hunting your submarines." This is reported by the BBC.
According to him, the number of Russian submarines threatening British waters has increased by 30%. This, Gili emphasised, indicates the intensification of Russian aggression, which affects not only Ukraine, but also the whole of Europe.
He noted that the Royal Air Force and Navy have increased their presence in the North Atlantic, conducting daily missions - sometimes around the clock - with the support of NATO allies.
Russian intelligence has been known to circumvent sanctions and export controls for nearly a decade through a network of companies, acquiring sensitive technology to build Arctic submarines to the tune of more than €50m. This includes ship insulation from Danish company Rockwool used in three of the Russian navy's most advanced submarines.
Russian submarines will not go unnoticed, and the North Atlantic has become a hotspot of naval confrontation," Gili added.
