More than 23,000 civilians affected by Russian aggression - UN

Since 24 February, 23,600 casualties have been recorded as a result of Russian aggression.
This was stated at a UN Security Council meeting by Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths, according to the Ministry of Reintegration.
There were 23,600 casualties among the civilian population affected in the full-scale war. We are talking about wounded and killed Ukrainians.
Also, according to Martin Griffiths, in reality the number of casualties is much higher.
It is noted that almost 3.6 million Ukrainians have received humanitarian assistance from the UN in the first quarter of 2023. In particular, we are talking about cash payments, food, and medical services.
According to Griffiths, the biggest humanitarian problem remains in all areas in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions. He stressed that Russia had never allowed humanitarian aid to be delivered to communities along the front line in the occupied areas.
