The enemy has stepped up fighting in the Avdiivka area in recent days. The Ukrainian armed forces repelled all attacks by the Russian occupiers and held their positions.



In the battles for Avdiyivka over the past 24 hours, the AFU Special Operations Forces destroyed eight units of heavy equipment and dozens of Russian occupants. This was reported by the command of the AFU Special Operations Forces.

For the third day the attention of Ukrainians is focused on the situation in Avdiivka direction, where the enemy has intensified offensive actions. However, the Defence Forces foiled the plans of the frantic enemy, repelled all attacks and held their positions. The SDF soldiers were among the first to enter the battle," the command said in a statement.

It is reported that as a result of successful ambushes, raids and the successful work of crews of the strike BPACs of the 3rd Regiment of the SDF destroyed:

  • five tanks;
  • one BMP;
  • one APC;
  • one Tiger armoured vehicle;
  • dozens of units of the enemy's manpower.

In the Avdeevka direction our defenders courageously hold the defence, repulsed 7 enemy attacks in the area of Avdeevka and another 7 attacks near Lastochkino, Tonenkoye, Pervomayskoye, Nevelskoye in Donetsk region, the AFU General Staff reported.

The occupants carried out air strikes in the areas of Novokalinovo, Keramik, Stepnoye, Avdeevka settlements in Donetsk region.

About 10 localities, including Novokalynove, Stepnoye, Avdiyivka and Pervomayske in Donetsk Region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
