The US Defence Department is preparing to respond to threats from Iran.
US President Joe Biden said that he expects an Iranian attack on Israel and it will happen "sooner or later". He said this to journalists on Friday at the White House, writes CNN.
At the same time, he noted that it could happen in the near future.
I don't want to reveal classified information, but I expect it to happen sooner rather than later," Biden told reporters when asked how imminent an Iranian attack on Israel is.
At the same time, Biden urged Iran to refrain from likely attacks on Israel.
Don't do it," Biden appealed to Tehran.
Biden added that the United States is committed to Israel's defence and will support Israel.
We will help defend Israel and Iran will not succeed," the US leader said.
