Belarus prepares provocations on the border - CNS

Belarus is preparing provocations on the border with Ukraine to demonstrate to the Chinese military the preparation of its troops for an armed clash. The country is currently holding joint military exercises with Chinese army units. This is reported by the Centre for National Resistance.

According to the CNR, the security forces of Belarus are planning to carry out "actions under a foreign flag" near the border with Ukraine.

They plan to resort to provocations, which they themselves will successfully warn to show their Chinese colleagues their capabilities," informs the Resistance.

It is known that the Belarusian military is holding the first common military exercises with the military from the People's Liberation Army of China until 19 July. The theme of the exercise is "countering terrorism.

It is noted that before the arrival of Chinese units in Belarus and joint military exercises of the states, Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Major General Vladimir Kuprianyuk said about the existence of threats of training, as well as possible "armed provocations in the presence of special forces, mercenaries and various volunteer formations in the border areas.

Thus, Belarus is preparing the information field for its own provocations, because it will be extremely beneficial for it in the context of Belarus' accession to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and the first joint anti-terrorist exercise with the PLA to show the ability of its own security agencies to respond to threats," explained the CNS.

According to the CNS representatives, the Belarusian security forces are planning to "successfully suppress armed provocations" on the borders of the state with Ukraine in order to then blame Kiev.

It should be noted that on Saturday, 6 July 2024, a large transport aircraft from the People's Republic of China landed at the Belarusian military airfield "Baranavichy" for the first time in history for a joint "anti-terrorist training.

The Belarusian Defence Ministry expects the cooperation to continue and further develop the Belarusian-Chinese relations in the field of joint training of troops.

on 8 July, the Ministry of Defence of Belarus reported that joint exercises of the state and Chinese military started at the Brestsky training range, which is located near the borders with Ukraine and Poland.
