Archaeologists told about the findings on the territories of Khortytsya Island, which were under water for more than 60 years and shallowed after the Kakhovskaya HPP was blown up.

In particular, scientists find a mass of fragments of ancient ceramics. This is reported by UNIAN.

Archaeologists say that on this place people lived, fought and engaged in crafts for tens of thousands of years.

During the inspection of the shallow territory and excavations scientists find many fragments of pottery, which is more than two thousand years old.

Archaeologists also find glass and metal products.

One of the most interesting finds was a silver coin, which was used in the first century AD.
