Air defence forces shot down an Iranian drone in Odessa region

TheAFU has destroyed a rare Russian reconnaissance drone in Odessa Region. This is reported by the Air Force Command of the AFU.

Earlier, the media reported that last year Russia purchased 30 such drones from Iran. In September 2022, the first Mohajer-6 was shot down in southern Ukraine.

The Mohajer-6 UAV is designed for strike and reconnaissance. It can carry four guided missiles and hardware weighing up to 100kg.

The drone's flight range is up to 200 kilometres, and the duration of operation is up to 12 hours. The maximum flight altitude is 5.4 kilometres.
