Access to applicants' electronic offices and the Vstup-2025 website is blocked until 28 August

on 26 August at 16:00 Kyiv time, the preparation of the algorithm for targeted placement of the state and regional order for master's degree programmes began. In this connection, the Ukrainian Education and Science Ministry has temporarily restricted access to the country's key educational services.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science, the electronic offices of applicants, the EDEBO system and the official website Vstup-2025 are currently unavailable. It is planned to restore the work of all services after the completion of the placement of recommendations - no later than 28 August.

This year more than 100 thousand electronic offices of applicants were created in the system, and the total number of submitted applications totalled 204,337. These figures demonstrate the scale of work to be done by the placement algorithm.

The list of those recommended for budgetary training will be made public until 28 August inclusive. Each applicant can receive only one budgetary recommendation. Confirm the choice of study place by 18:00 on 30 August, and enrolment on the budgetary form will continue until 1 September.

Key dates for admission to the Master's programme 2025:

• Until 28 August - publication of lists of those recommended for the budget.

• Until 18:00 on 30 August - confirmation of the choice of place of study.

• Until 1 September - enrolment on the budgetary form.

• From 1 September - formation of recommendations for a contract.

• Till 30 September - enrolment on the contract form.

• Until 20 October - additional enrolment for a contract.

From 1 September will begin the formation of recommendations for contract training, enrolment for which will last until 30 September. Additional enrolment for contract in educational institutions is possible till 20th of October.

Technical work on setting up the placement algorithm is critical for fair distribution of budget places among applicants. The system has to take into account many factors: entrance exam results, applicants' priorities, quotas of educational institutions and special admission conditions.

This year there is an interesting trend among undergraduate applicants. Almost 3 thousand applicants who were recommended for budgetary education did not confirm their place and refused state funding. Among the applicants of contract form the number of refusals was more than 28 thousand people.
