Abandoned by their own: Russian spy captured by "Steel Cordon" fighters

While carrying out combat tasks in the Svatovsk direction, border guards of the 15 mobile border detachment captured a 38-year-old Russian spy. This is reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The captive said that he was mobilised in October 2022. First he got into the tank brigade and built fortifications on the border of the Russian Federation with Ukraine in the Kursk region.

In the autumn of 2023, he was transferred to a reconnaissance unit in the Svatovskoye direction, changed into a military uniform similar to that of Ukrainian troops, and sent to conduct reconnaissance and assault operations, during which he came across a mine-explosive barrier.

After the detonation of the "fellow" from the reconnaissance group left their wounded "comrade", - reported in the GPSU.

Fighters of the brigade "Steel cordon" evacuated the wounded Russian from the battlefield and provided first aid.

Thanks to being captured, the Russian spy survived and will later be added to the exchange fund.
