The spy's husband volunteered to join the Russian PMC Wagner, and she began working for Russian military intelligence.

The SBU has unmasked another Russian military intelligence informer who collected intelligence on the Defence Forces and corrected enemy fire on civilian infrastructure in Donetsk Region. This is reported by the SBU.

It was on her "tip-off" on 6 January this year, the Rashists launched a missile attack on residential buildings in the Pokrovsky district. Then as a result of enemy "arrivals" killed 6 civilians, among them - two children, - reported in the special service.

The spy also monitored the presence and frequency of movement of echelons with heavy armoured vehicles and artillery of the AFU in the direction of the front line. To fulfil this task, she got a job as a saleswoman at a railway station kiosk in the frontline district of the region.

There she "darkly" asked the station employees for "necessary" information during confidential conversations and sale of goods. In addition, she tried to secretly record the movement of rolling stock of Ukrainian troops, - reported in the SBU.

As a result of a special operation, SBU officers exposed the spy and detained her in her own home.

According to the investigation, the Russian GRU attracted the woman to co-operation even before the start of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. At that time, she travelled to temporarily occupied Donetsk, where she visited her husband, a criminal, who was serving a prison sentence in a local colony.

After his release, he voluntarily joined the Russian PMC "Wagner", and his wife began working for the Russian military intelligence.

Based on the collected evidence, SBU investigators informed her of suspicion under part 3 of article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorised dissemination of information on the movement or deployment of the AFU, committed under martial law). The spy faces up to 12 years in prison.
