A Russian Shahed warhead was neutralised in Kyiv

Explosive technicians of the Metropolitan Police have destroyed the warhead of an enemy Shahed, which was shot down on the outskirts of Kyiv. This was reported by the Kyiv police communication department on 22 February.

The remains of the downed drone with an undamaged warhead were found in a forest belt. At the scene of the discovery worked investigative-operative group and specialised services. The seized drone was destroyed," the police said.

About a suspicious object to the police in Kyiv reported a local resident. He said that he was walking and noticed on the ground part of an object that looked like an unmanned aerial vehicle.

An investigation team and explosive technicians arrived at the scene and found the wreckage of the unmanned aerial vehicle "Shahed" and its unexploded warhead.

Police explosive technicians discharged the drone's warhead and took it to a safe place, where they destroyed it.

The Kyiv police reminds that in case of detection of suspicious explosive objects do not approach them, do not carry out any manipulations with them, and immediately report the discovery of a dangerous find to the police.
