Russian military with Ukrainian passport detained in Volyn
On the border with Belarus in the Volyn region, border guards, together with the SBU, detained a former Russian military man at the Domanovo checkpoint, who was hiding behind a Ukrainian passport and trying to get into Ukraine.
This was reported by the State Border Service on May 28, in 2009 the man left for Russia, where he received Russian citizenship. In 2013-2014 he served in the armed forces of the Russian Federation. And already in 2016 he signed a contract.
According to available information, the unit in which the man served took part in hostilities in the Donbass.
It is noted that the attacker was informed of suspicion of high treason and chose a measure of restraint - detention.
