A 15-year-old Ukrainian was attacked with a knife in Germany

The event took place in the evening of 19 May, according to German police.

It is known that a quarrel broke out between two groups of teenagers and young people. As a result, a 15-year-old boy received several stab wounds. The police note that the injuries were life-threatening for the teenager, but now he is all right. The victim is in hospital.

Police are investigating the attack in conjunction with prosecutors.

The German edition of Bild reports that the victim is a refugee from Ukraine.

The young Ukrainian was walking in the evening with two friends in Dortmund's Nordstadt district. At around 9pm they struck up a conversation with two girls. A group of young men apparently did not like this and a fight ensued. Suddenly one of the men snatched a knife," the message said.

According to journalists, the Ukrainian was first cut on the neck, and then - in the upper part of the body. The attackers managed to escape, they are being sought by the homicide investigation department.
